I started Deborah Mitchell Independent Funeral Services because I believe that every family deserves time, care, and compassion when saying goodbye. After a number of years of working in the funeral profession, I saw the need for a more personal approach, one that focuses on listening, flexibility, and trust.
This work is deeply meaningful to me. Being trusted to guide a family through such an important time is a responsibility I take very seriously. I’m committed to making sure each person in our care is treated with the utmost dignity, and that every goodbye reflects the individual being remembered.
From the first phone call through to the day of the service and beyond, I’m here to make sure nothing feels rushed or impersonal. I’ll always do my best to honour your wishes and provide thoughtful guidance, every step of the way.
